At the heart of each ACL community are residents who are valued, supported and connected. Our inclusive approach to building these communities offers opportunities for families, seniors, and veterans often hit hardest by the rising costs of housing to find a place to call home.
Through our owned and affiliated manufactured home communities in California and Arizona we offer some of the most budget-friendly housing solutions available. Our over 7,000 residents across 1,400 households are a testament to our dedication to ensure affordable living remains a reality.
Quality of life in our communities is enriched through our responsive hands-on property management approach and allows us to tailor our services to meet the unique needs of our residents.
A Word From Our Chairman
In 2016, I joined the Board of Directors after retiring from ownership of a CPA firm for over 40 years. For the past 20 years, I have been involved with the manufactured housing industry and fully support the ongoing efforts of Affordable Community Living (ACL) as they strive to assist families in finding a place to call home.
I wish to express my sincere gratitude to our former Chairman of the Board, Garry Edmundson, who passed away in September 2016, for his knowledgeable leadership in maintaining the ideals which ACL has established in the communities that it owns and operates. His leadership has helped ACL assist thousands of low to moderate income families improve their standard of living and realize their own American dream of home ownership, while easing the burden to local government.

Board Member – Former Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer for Beach Business Bank. Pacific Coast Banking School graduate with 40 years commercial and corporate lending experience. USMCR 1967-1973.
Board Member – President of Cole Housing Corp and Manufactured Housing Insurance Services and founding member on California Manufactured Housing Institute’s Board of Directors.
Board Member – Former Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Managing Broker and current Real Estate Advisor with over 16 years of Real Estate experience and consulting. Former Orange County Association of Realtors YPN Board Member and Business owner.
Board Member – Former Special Investigator for the California State Contractor’s License Board. U.S. Army Green Beret Combat veteran.
Board Member – President of the California Manufactured Housing Institute and Foundation, and continuous board member since 1982.
